The students took part in a one-mile walk/run and collected pledges totaling $852.39! The Maine Breast Cancer Coalition volunteers who accepted the check were so impressed with these young people who raised such a big donation for our Support Service Fund. Read more here.
The conference continues to provide cancer survivors, caregivers, health care professionals and interested community members about information and resources. It is also is a day of healing, hope, health and inspiration for all.
The conference will run from 9 a.m.–3:15 p.m., with registration beginning at 8. Lunch is available at no charge to all participants and there will also be door prizes. There will be representatives from health care and social service organizations.

In addition to a fantastic buffet lunch, guests will enjoy fabulous door prizes and amazing guest speakers. They will leave the event empowered and equipped with information on how to do more for the breast cancer cause than buy pink ribbon products. Attendees will also leave the event prepared to “Think BEYOND Pink” all throughout the year with great breast health resources and information.
