Thank You to Searsport Elementary School Fourth and Fifth Graders!

Thank you to Searsport Elementary School fourth and fifth graders, who went that extra mile for the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition!

The students took part in a one-mile walk/run and collected pledges totaling $852.39! The Maine Breast Cancer Coalition volunteers who accepted the check were so impressed with these young people who raised such a big donation for our Support Service Fund. We heard from their teachers that the students had put in a lot of practice on the one-mile course and worked hard collecting pledges.

Thank you also to the fourth and fifth grade teachers, Mrs. Legere, Mr. Quigley, Mrs. Seamans, and Mrs. Stanhope.
