Caring Connections, in conjunction with the Maine Breast Cancer Coalition, will be celebrating survivors with a fun event on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Hampden Academy in Hampden, Maine. Click here for a schedule of events.
We will be celebrating breast cancer survivors with a lap around the outdoor track, and honoring the survivors’ support system by inviting their families, caregivers, or other supporters to join the survivors for another lap.
Inside Hampden Academy, attendees can embrace wellness with numerous opportunities to enjoy educational seminars, exercise classes, yoga, healthy food, and more! There will also be many informational/exhibitor booths, Darlings photo booth, and door prizes.
The cost of registration for the event is $12.00. (Children 12 and under are free.) Funds raised will support Caring Connections programs and services. T-Shirts will be available for purchase.
For more information or to register for this fun-filled day to celebrate survivors, click here or call the Bangor Region YMCA at 207-941-2808. Pre-registration is preferred, but registrations will be accepted at the event as well beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Save the date and get ready for a great time!
Northeast Air kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by presenting representatives from Maine Breast Cancer Coalition with a check from the company's fundraising efforts. Team NEA was able to raise $810 in employee donations for the fight against breast cancer. With the matching donation from co-owners Henry and Linda Laughlin, the grand total donation was $1,620 for our Support Service Fund.
We were so pleased to meet the generous owners and employees of Northeast Air. WMTW Channel 8 was there to video the event.
