11th Annual Downeast Cancer Conference: Bar Harbor, November 2

The 11th Annual Downeast Cancer Conference, titled “Finding Calm in Our Community,” is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center in Bar Harbor. Organizers describe this free conference as “both informative and uplifting.” Cancer survivors, caregivers, health care providers, social workers and interested community members are all welcome to attend.

The conference continues to provide cancer survivors, caregivers, health care professionals and interested community members about information and resources. It is also is a day of healing, hope, health and inspiration for all.

The conference will run from 9 a.m.–3:15 p.m., with registration beginning at 8. Lunch is available at no charge to all participants and there will also be door prizes. There will be representatives from health care and social service organizations.
